Microsoft launches Windows 10.

Windows 10 is out!!

It has several new features and can be downloaded for free.

Microsoft's new Windows 10 operating system debuts Wednesday as the long-time leader in PC software struggles to carve out a new role in the world. Windows 10 is coming to PCs and tablets first but it is also designed to run on phones, game consoles, holographic headphones, and what not.

It has a new browser called Microsoft Edge (They were going to dump Internet Explorer anyway). The company believes that Windows 10 would be familiar and easy to use for the users of Windows 7 and 8 (and 8.1). While PC analysts believe that Windows 8 made sagging PC sales worse they think that Windows 10 will be a chance to bring them back up.

If you're a Windows 7 or 8 user, you've probably already seen the "Get Windows 10" icon sitting in the task bar and have already reserved your copy of Windows 10.

While we might have been annoyed with the icon, all of us are happy that for once Microsoft is generous and given us a free upgrade to a much better version.

You have 1 year to upgrade to Windows 10 and the free upgrade will expire on 26th July 2016.
